WHO I AM

I began my career in theater and later transitioned to the audiovisual field. I worked for many years as a cinematographic reporter and producer before moving into directing. Along the way, I developed projects in various formats and with different purposes — from documentary and fiction feature films to television series. I have directed and produced dozens of episodes, both in authorial projects and in collaborations with channels such as TV Globo, Canal Futura, Discovery Channel, Turner, Canal Curta!, and Red Bull TV, as well as independent production companies like Conspiração Filmes, Ocean Films, and TV Zero.

This experience has given me familiarity with different production environments — from large sets with more than 80 professionals to small crews of just five people. I also feel comfortable directing both actors and non-actors, always seeking the truth of those in front of the camera.

Having worked in editing and post-production, I learned to value every detail of the process. I believe it is there — in the weaving of images and sounds — that a good idea becomes a living film, capable of moving, provoking, or simply making people think.

The session is on Sundays, and starts as soon as it gets dark, but only if it doesn’t rain: the projector is left unprotected on the sidewalk so that it has enough distance from the screen.
